Our Story

Founded in 1993 by an incredible hostess and home chef, we are still family owned and continue to spread the love for home cooking and entertaining.

If you- or someone you adore- love to cook, well you've come to the right place! We offer a wide range of handy kitchen gadgets, gourmet sauces, spreads, and more, alongside cute and functional home goods. Dress up your kitchen and welcome your friends!

We have built our own coffee brand and roaster, Cape May Roasters, to provide you with the freshest coffee in town. We feature dozens of flavored coffees, along with delectable blended roasts and single origin roasts to satisfy your gourmet coffee needs! All production, including roasting, flavoring, bagging, and our web sales, are handled here in Cape May. We also offer our own loose leaf tea blends alongside bagged teas from the Republic of Tea and Harney & Sons.

We offer more spice blends, oils, mustards, hot sauces, and salad dressings than you can shake a wooden spoon at (and we have those, too)! We feature a number of products from local chefs and artisans, such as Chef Walter's spice rubs and handmade serving boards from the Cape May Winery.

With all of these ingredients and products we carry, you may be in need of some guidance, but don't worry, at Love the Cook, we have that department covered too--we carry a diverse selection of cookbooks, from national best-sellers to great, local Cape May cookbooks!

Order Processing: Please allow up to 3 days for your order to process and ship. 5 lb Coffee bags and other custom orders may take up to a week. All coffee is freshly roasted and ground to order.
